Job Overview

Overview of the role:

The Bid Proposals Manager will lead the end-end RFP response process. The candidate will be responsible to identify opportunities, present opportunity notes to senior management, prepare competitive bid response documents. The Bid and proposals manager will be responsible to provide a global class bid response documents that will articulate the uniqueness of the solution, provide all relevant documents for eligibility criteria and provide a strong articulation of the techno-commercial bid response. The Bid and Proposals Manager will operate in a collaborative manner with all the stakeholders in the pre-sales team and is engaged from the opportunity identification to opportunity till closure.

Main Responsibilities:

• Understand RFP requirements, competitive landscape, key end customer requirements and identify potential partners for collaboration in order to stitch together a consortium if needed.
• Track and Identify new RFP/Tenders based on company’s strategic objectives against tight timelines.
• Manage the response process against RFIs / RFPs and ensure that all the milestones and deliverables get met in a timely manner.
• Identify inter-dependencies and develop & track to an overall bid project plan with tasks, milestones, deliverables, and associated timelines for proposal preparation activities and tracks.
• Bid Response to highlight key differentiators, core value proposition and solution description in a very crisp manner.
• Work closely with the Technical Solution Team to develop the solution and describe the same in the proposal. Managing all Tenderer contacts, and functional owner relationships for the designated proposal.
• Interface with other Proposal Support roles (i.e., Technical/Domain Specialists, Proposal Writers, and Practices) and other internal sources to help build/populate the proposal documents.
• Work with sales team, Subject Matter Experts and senior management team required during the bid submission process within time critical schedules.
• Act as the initial escalation point for Bid-team issues. Formal progress/status reports published to Bid Team & Leadership team.
• Collaborating as a key member of the pre-sales team to represent the solution offering to Tenderer.
• Facilitate pricing development. Work with Pricing team and expedite pricing approvals.
• Ensure that compliance with all relevant aspects of Solution Design and Delivery process, business control, reviews and a timely closure of Approvals before Bid submission.
• Drive towards secure all the bid-process approvals in a timely manner.
• Deliver a final approved proposal documents.

Written Communication Skills:

• Should be able to articulate solution offering, uniqueness and key differentiators in a crisp manner.
• Should have sound understanding of the technologies proposed in the offered solution and should be able to use them effectively in the proposal document
• Understand the key components of the RFP/tender and prepare tender specific documentation.

Pre-Requisites:

• 3-6 years in a Pre-Sales/ Sales Support/ Bid-Management role with strong RFP/RFI experience is a must.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills & multi-stakeholder coordination skills are must.
• Ability to work under demanding situations is required.
• BSc/BE Graduate , MBA is preferred
